Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Airport

Arrive in Entebbe Airport where you will be picked up and transferred to your guest house for the night.

Day 2: Kampala Tour and Transfer to Jinja

After a leisurely breakfast, head to Kampala city for a tour of Uganda’s capital. Experience this vibrant metropolis and learn more about the city that is at the heart of Uganda’s rapid urbanisation and growth. Visit the iconic buildings and hills that make up this city of over 3 million residents. Highlights include the Gadhaffi Mosque, down town taxi park and hill top views.

Day 3 - 4: Jinja

Enjoy one of Uganda’s most beautiful towns. Enjoy the sunset boat cruise which will take you along the lake to the famous source of Nile. Choose from the optional activities: Biking, Rafting and Horseback riding, Source of the Nile Boat cruises, Cultural tours, Jinja tour and Mabira Forest Walk.

Day 5: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Rhino Tracking

Set off at 06:45am for Murchison Falls. Break-off in Masindi for lunch before you proceed to Murchison Falls for an evening game drive. On the game drive expect to see giraffes, elephant and buffalo among other grazers. With a little luck lions and other big cats might be seen too.Return to the lodge for the night’s stay.

Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Ride to the Bottom of Murchison Falls

Awaken early to the beautiful sounds of the wild and start the day with a game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls. Look out for night dwellers including the leopards, lions and hyenas, which, with a little luck, we will see before they retire to their dwelling places.

You will also get to see herds of buffalo, elephant and numerous antelope species including the Uganda kob.

After your lunch break, sail to the bottom of Murchison Falls as you enjoy the unique sights of aquatic wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds and the breathtaking views of the water falls. Disembark from the boat and start the hike through the wilderness as you head to the top of the falls where you will find your guide waiting to return you to the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Fort Portal

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on the 6 -7 hour drive to the beautiful town of Fort Portal. You will arrive in the late afternoon hours and settle in to the guesthouse for the night’s stay.

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking + Relaxation or optional Bigodi walk

Arise at leisure and head into the Kibale forest with the ranger guide to track these fascinating primates.p> Once found, watch the chimpanzees at close proximity and observe as they go about their business in their natural habitats. You will also see numerous other ape species including the collubus monkey baboons and red-tailed monkeys. Spend the afternoon hours relaxing by the swimming pool or crater lake side by your lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Arise to a hearty breakfast and then embark on an 8 – 9 hourdrive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the evening and if time permits, head for a game drive through the savannah grasslands of the park.

Day 10: Morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward

Arise in time for your early breakfast, thereafter proceed for early morning big game viewing as you drive along the circuits. See the elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and other small mammals. Break for lunch at the Mweya Peninsula also known as “the beautiful place”.

In the afternoon, head for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the lake shores teeming with "loser “buffalo herds, hippos and crocodiles as well as numerous birds including pink backed pelicans, plovers, Kingfishers and many other bird species that reside in this avian paradise.Return to the accommodation of your choice for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable

After a leisurely breakfast embark on a journey through Queen Elizabeth as you make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. With a little luck we will see the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park and thereafter embark on the final leg of the journey to Bwindi where you will arrive in time for the sunset. .

Day 12: Gorilla Tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Arise early for breakfast, head to the park office at 08:00am for briefing. Thereafter, the rangers will walk you down the narrow forest paths through thick undergrowth, with the beautiful birdschirping away in the background as you search for the gorilla families.

Tracking can take between 2-6 hours. However, once found the experience of watching these incredible primates in their natural habitat is well worth every ounce of energy expended on the tiring forest trails.

It is most advisable for trackers to be in good physical condition before embarking on the trails.Get in close proximity with the gorillas as you quietly observe these pacific primates in their natural habitat. Watch the Gorillas eat, groom and play. Packed lunched is offered during the day.

After action packed adventure, embark on the journey to Lake Bunyonyi. .

Day 13: Lake Bunyonyi

Spend the day unwinding in the idyllic Lake Bunyonyi. Take a hike around the hills, zip line across the lake and a canoe ride on the lake. Swimming will also be possible here as it is a bilharzia free lake. .

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Mburo for Evening Game drive

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy a leisurely evening before embarking on an evening game drive where you will search for the night hunters such as the leopard and lions among other nocturnal dwellers.

Day 15: Morning Game Drive or optional biking safari + relaxation

After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy another game ride traverse through the park to see zebra, buffalo, giraffes, elands and other mammals.

Day 16: Drive to Entebbe Airport

Arise early and embark on the 6-7 hour drive that takes you along the equator crossing and eventually back to Entebbe airport where you will arrive in the evening.
